 When can I restart my blood thinning medication?

This needs to be discussed with your surgeon. It varies depending on your blood thinning medication, why you are on them and how much bleeding you had during your surgery. In general, blood thinning medications can be started about 1-2 weeks after uncomplicated surgery.
